At Field Studio Landscape Architects, we create greater harmony between human nature and the natural world through landscape architecture and design. From ranch planning to residential design, urban design, and community projects, our award-winning portfolio spans the Northern Rockies and beyond. 

As a small team with diverse capabilities, we value collaboration and innovation. We respect and appreciate our unique clients, their perspectives, and the different landscapes we work within. Yet each project shares commonalities of cooperative relationship, ecological sustainability, and design longevity.

Based in Bozeman, Montana, a landscape of clear rivers, wide-open plains, and rugged mountains, we are not simply landscape architects, horticulturists, and planners; we are also skiers, paddlers, hikers, and families. As individuals, we value a sustainable lifestyle and a meaningful work/play balance; as professionals, that philosophy guides our approach to how and why we create.

Our work is multilayered and holistic. We see the whole, incorporating the needs of both places and people. We cultivate human connection to land and community.
