Elizabeth Ritchie
Elizabeth is a designer at Field Studio with a passion for the natural world. Her experience with landscape maintenance informs her design approach by prioritizing sustainability and responsible stewardship of the land. She is detail-oriented and strives to create spectacular outdoor experiences that will last for generations to come.
Growing up in Colorado before moving to Montana fostered a deep appreciation for high altitude environments. This, combined with her love of horticulture and plant care has brought her an abundance of hands-on experience with native vegetation and the special care it often requires. From the sage scrub of Colorado to the cottonwood stands of the Gallatin Valley there is so much to be learned from the hardy plants of the area.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design from Montana State University. She enjoys skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer, and when she’s not out enjoying the natural beauty of the Rock Mountains she can be found curled up with a knitting or crochet project and her cat Miso.
